G.S.D. (Get Sh*t Done!) How to Prioritize your Goals in 9 minutes

I spent a few hours today with my life coach, Stacey Hall of Chi-to-Be, looking at my goals for last month (which I completed- VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE!) and then we talked about my main goals for this month.

Both of this month’s main goals are things that I’ve never done before so they seemed pretty impossible looking at them on paper.

But as I started breaking these goals down into steps and intentional activities that I need to do, my goals kept getting clearer and now I have an exact path to follow and I will for sure have these 2 big scary goals finished in the next 30 days. (At which point I’ll dive into another set of big scary goals.)

Let me just take a minute to tell you the truth.. I’m actually not very good with goals. The sound of the word “goals” used to make me cringe.

I love starting projects and learning new things but once the new-ness of an idea is over, I lose interest pretty quickly.

And that’s OK. Trying, doing and learning new things is part of who I am and if I get bored with something or I feel it’s no longer serving my life, I give myself full permission to quit.

This is important: The reason I’m OK with trying new things out and quitting is because I have a very LARGE and SPECIFIC goal for my entire life. In Chi-to-Be we call it the B-All and Stacey has a brilliant system that has helped me find mine.

Before I had a B-All I would have all these goals and I’d be constantly working towards them but they weren’t strategic in getting me to the end result. It was like driving without a map GPS.

I still always have a million things that I want to start and do but I always organize all my goals and ideas and use a super-easy process to figure out which goal is going to benefit my life the most and in the least amount of time possible.

In today’s video, I’m going to show you this seriously simple way to figure out what your goals are and how to choose what to work on this month.

Watch only if you’re ready to Get Sh*t Done.  🙂

After you’ve finished the exercise, be sure to let me know in the comments if you got more clear on your goals and what your plan is!!
